Hi everyone,
I’m organizing a hen do for 20 girls in Bath next year. We’ve already booked accommodations and meals, but I’m looking for ideas to make it extra special.
Has anyone been to a particularly memorable hen do? Do you have any suggestions for fun and engaging games? I’m trying to avoid anything too cheesy!
What specific details made your hen do stand out?
I’m also thinking about incorporating a Tuscan theme to match the wedding location. Any ideas on how to do this?
Thanks for your help!

Hey Sophie,
This sounds really fun! From the hens I’ve been to recently some of my favourite things included
Hiring a private chef for a special dinner or long lunch on one of the days (we used Take a Chef)
Karaoke (you can buy cheap mics from Amazon)
A Mr & Mrs type quiz which you can hook up to the TV (then a few extra rounds of general celeb knowledge for everyone else)
Also things that made it stand out - just generally being organised, sending out and receiving nice invites. Some goodie bags (with useful things like nail files, gum, Candy Kittens etc). We also made a shared playlist on Spotify with everyone’s fave songs - to have a bit of a soundtrack for the weekend!

Hi Sophie,
So much fun! I went on my first hen do ever with my closest friends earlier this summer and I totally agree, hiring a chef was extra special. We did goody bags with similar things to Sherrie’s suggestion, matching pj’s, mini margarita cans, survival kits etc. We got masks and little blow up floats of the groom and had a few games.
For example, we were split into two teams throughout the trip and had to tick of a number of challenges secretly / Mr and Mrs etc. I think it’s great to have a couple games up as back up for when you need to keep the momentum going x
I would recommend getting a polaroid camera, taking photos over the trip then putting them all together for the hen in a book for memories. These days I think we take so many photos on our phone but never get round to printing them!
