Hi, I’m having a girls weekend away to Milan & lake como in June. Any suggestions for accommodation at a reasonable budget. We also want to do some hiking around the lake.

I stayed at Hotel Dei Cavalieri Milano Duomo via Booking.com and was very happy there, the hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was located a few mins walk away from the cathedral and not far from train station. If I was going back I would definitely consider staying there again. I didn’t travel to Lake Como so can’t comment on that location, mine was purely a shopping holiday and Milan is SUPERB for shopping
