Milia/ plasma

Hello
I have some stubborn milia around my eyes that two facialists haven’t been able to remove with a needle. The second facialist has recommended cold plasma to treat it. Wondering if anyone has had this treatment or has any other recommendations for treating milia?
Thank you! Xx

Ah I hear you, I used to get this around my eyes too. It may be that you find it resolves itself on its own with time - mine did - but have you tried any very gentle exfoliators? It’s tricky in this area as so sensitive, but a product like this: https://www.dermalogica.co.uk/products/daily-microfoliant-exfoliator-travel-size?variant=40959973523648&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwq_G1BhCSARIsACc7NxryLbvMk3sOy_kEwCx45n81V0GyR2-EjL5pci-yQqCd5atfiiLBi7IaAj9MEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

Is really useful as its soft beads that break down with water for very gentle exfoliation. Worth a try!

Ah, so tricky. I also get milia from time to time, but unfortunately haven’t had cryopen myself so can’t comment on that. Over the years I’ve become quite comfortable removing them myself with a sterile, ultra-fine needle. (Obviously not recommending you do this - sounds like they’re really stubborn if even a facialist had no luck with the extraction.) If you’re considering a treatment, go somewhere reputable where they will give you a consultation first and explain all the options so you can go from there. Good luck! x

Thank you! I’ll try some gentle exfoliation and see if that helps

I had the same! I used Paula’s Choice AHA toner which really helped, as did a couple of hydrofacial sessions
