Mother-Daughter Getaway in London Recos

I’ll be visiting London and the Cotswold’s with my mom in early-November and am seeking recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the city and the countryside. We’ve both already been to London so we want to see parts of the city that are much less touristy and try some new restaurants! Any recommendations for either London or the Cotswold’s? Thank you!

I recently spent the weekend in Kingham (Cotswolds), which was glorious. I stayed at the Kingham Plough which I highly recommend. I really recommend staying in their private cottage, Little Barn, it was like a home away from home and the perfect base to explore the area. The iconic Daylesford is a five min drive: https://thekinghamplough.co.uk/rooms/ If you don’t stay at The Kingham Plough, definitely swing by for a drink or dinner! X

The Double Red Duke in the is a lovely place to stop for some lunch in the Cotswolds! x

The wild rabbit pub is lovely and The Old Butcher in Stow is a really nice fish restaurant!

Yes, a great shout!

There are some lovely recommendations in here that aren’t too expensive!

Agree re Double Red Duke. Nice cosy rooms too and they have a treatment room in a cute shepherds hut. The massage I had there was dreamy! The Rectory is also really nice: https://therectoryhotel.com/
