Im starting to help my Mum look for a Mother of the Bride outfit and im so uninspired by the usuals (John Lewis, LK B, etc.) … She’s not a matching set type and would love something different that doesnt cost the earth (under £500) … any inspo would be greatly appreciated!

It is worth keeping in mind that new season collections are starting to drop so there will be lots of newness over the next few weeks that will be more inspiring. My mum just booked a bridal shop (in Colchester) to go shopping for her mother of the bride outfit and honestly I was not excited as i was expected the standard mother of the bride frumpiness but she got THE most incredible dress that is absolutely not your standard mother of the bride outfit so actual bridal shops might be worth a try

That’s exactly what I thought, and they did have a lot of that but there were a few absolutely beaututifl and different dresses in there too. Good luck!
