Hi Everyone, I am going to be mother of the groom in April . My son is a ‘rock and roll’ lawyer and the attire is semi formal. Can anyone suggest where I can find an edgy pencil skirt suit

Have you considered renting instead of buying? It allows you to be a bit more experimental without fully splashing out. Hurr have cool suits by the likes of Racil, or some fun, feather trim pieces blazers from Nadine Merabi.
