I have been natural for quite a few years and my hair has gotten so much healthier and curlier, but I have noticed that it appears to just not be growing much. Has anyone got any tips on how to maintain length, as well as grow curly hair? Any products or routines would be fab x
Rosemary oil works great for a lot of people! scalp health is key for growing your hair. Would also suggest a scalp massage brush which helps exfoliate and renew hair growth x
That’s a good idea - I’ve never tried Rosemary Oil before! Thanks x
I started massaging my scalp every night before bed last year and my hair growth has been so much better since! I’m with you though, my curls seem to be growing outwards rather than in length, but since using the massaging technique it’s been growing a lot quicker. I also use rosemary oil once a week before washing.
I use this one and this rosemary oil
I think getting a good curly cut can do wonders!
3Thirty Salon in Shoreditch is the best - they offer curly cuts for natural and textured hair.
Otherwise I love my Current Body LED hair helmet (definitely and investment but it really works).
I’ve always cut my hair myself because of one really awful one but I have heard a lot about curly cuts and need to look into this I think! @Sandrew
I sleep in hair masks a lot but you’re right, I need to focus more on the scalp - thanks @vanessamenrad
I really rate the Champo hair care range and the growth serum
I agree with above on the scalp! Someone once told me that it’s like a flower bed so needs nurturing and I’ve never looked back from that.
It takes a while to see results but I do rate this: https://www.lookfantastic.com/p/kerastase-genesis-serum-anti-chute-fortifiant-90ml/12432690/?affil=thggpsad&switchcurrency=GBP&shippingcountry=GB&affil=thggpsad&kwds=&thg_ppc_campaign=20739597553&adtype=pla&product_id=12432690&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA1p28BhCBARIsADP9HrPiydTXKTJDYKvh8UicdBKPAX8DVPAzBKqRJCsJWPCpccWA7LCZZiEaAmsbEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
love this analogy Becky!
