Hi all. I have a work awards ‘do next week (at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane) and want to find somewhere to meet our clients for a drink beforehand. Does anyone have any reccos for a nice drink spot around that area - Mayfair? Somewhere quite chilled where we can get a table etc and also where we don’t look out of place (we’ll be in black tie and be meeting around 6/6:30pm). Thanks!!

The Vesper Bar at The Dorchester is a lovely spot and you won’t look out of place at all. It’s still chilled despite being in a five-star hotel. Otherwise, The Audley Public House is a posh/cool pub and more casual.
