Nice Rug Ideas

Looking for nice rugs that aren’t too expensive

Me too! Would love to know more places to look. We’ve just ordered one from John Lewis as it’s easy to return if we don’t like it. So difficult to know if it’s going to work when in the room.

Love this scallop one from Habitat! Cheap and cheerful https://www.argos.co.uk/product/9625235?clickSR=slp:term:scallop%20rug:1:341:1 x

H&M home store on regent st or go to a carpet shop and get carpet whipped around the edges!

Worth to try Zara Home or Next Home, they often have unexpected surprises.

I recently bought two jute hallway runners and taped them together to make a rug to go under my dining table - it cost a lot less than the full size version.
Also look at Bombay Sprout and Ruggable - the latter can go in your washing machine!

We did this with some leftover offcuts after we replaced our carpets - this Gold heat seam carpet joining tape from Amazon is great! Amazon.co.uk
If you’re feeling creative and don’t mind doing a bit of work, stores like Carpetright and Tapi regularly get rid of their sample mats - and your rugs will be one of a kind!!

Depending on the style you want - flatweaves: Weaver Green are made from Recycled bottles or Birdie Fortescue

Huge range of styles and colours here:
