I am dyeing my hair from very dark brown to a copper. I will have to bleach it (at least once) and I am wondering if £45 on top of the dye process is worth it to have the Olaplex No 1 bonder/hair protector applied. Has anyone had colour treatment with and without olaplex to be able to say there is a difference and a noticeable level of protection/less damage?

Yes! I have bleach every six months or so and I always opt for the Olaplex add-on at the sink. It’s obviously costly, but I definitely see a difference - my hair is more manageable too and less knotty as a result. x

Since using it, I would now never get my hair dyed without the Olaplex treatment. It honestly makes such a difference to overall appearance, and after care. Definitely worth it!
