Open pores

Hi,
I’m looking for a good pore minimiser product that will work wonders under my make-up, targeting certain areas around my face i. e. cheeks and middle eyebrows!
I’ve tried the Benefit one already but there must be more products out there that I don’t know about.
Thank you!!

This is great from Estee Lauder if you have not tried already: https://www.esteelauder.co.uk/product/1473/122942/product-catalog/makeup/face/primers/double-wear/smooth-blur-primer

For something a bit more glowy this is also fab from YSL: https://www.boots.com/yves-saint-laurent-touche-eclat-blur-primer-30ml-10191149

I highly rate this soap from Santa Maria Novella: (ideally use it x2-3 weekly)

Also, K-beauty brands offer a good choice of products:

For temporary relief, Danessa Myricks’ Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder could be worth a try?Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder 18g (Various Shades) | Cult Beauty Extremely well-reviewed, and you can use it in a few different ways - one of which is as a primer.

If you’re looking to improve your skin’s texture long-term, I’d say nothing beats an old-fashioned double cleanse with a flannel, daily. (Ignore if you’re already doing this!)

Not a make-up product but I love the Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant - it really does reduce the appearance of pores with only a few uses in the evening.

I love using a microexfoliant to open up the pores, then a clay mask to draw out the dirt, and finally a niacinamide serum to act as antioxidant - this has really helped to reduce my pores - I do this once a week.

Niacinamide is good for pores. I’ve used the one from Naturium and I like it x

I second Sherri on this! This Liquid Exfoliant is one of few products I’ve noticed a change to my pores with. Hello,
I am using Zeroveen Emollient by Zeroderma. A tube costs under £10 on Amazon.
I use it morning and evening after my serum and before my moisturiser/ night cream.
I saw a difference in 2 weeks. I would recommend that you do a scrub then a mask to absorb all impurities as it will close up your pores. My aunt has oily skin so uses it on its own but I have dry skin and it’s not enough despite the brand saying that it’s for dry skin. I hope it works for you.
