Paris Hotel, a must stay!

I recently visited Paris to take part in the Paris Marathon and we stayed in a gorgeous hotel - sharing as it is too good not to - Le Dokhan Hotel.

A hotel located in prime spots between the Arc de Trimpohe and the Eiffel Tower, but nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city. I uploaded some photos and did a little write up here -

Looks stunning! Iā€™m actually going to Paris next weekend and staying in a similar area, did you go anywhere for food/drinks/shops you would recommend?

So many recommendations from this visit and previous:

Restaurants:

  • Carbonis (so good, and a Jazz bar underneath)
  • Andia
  • Malro
  • Gigi and Giraffe, very popular but lovely views of the city

Coffe spots:

  • Dreamin man
  • the coffee.
  • Angelina

Breakfast

  • Les Deux Magots
  • Carette
    (very good for people watching)

Sandwich/lunch

  • The best ham sandwich, I have ever had - huge claim I know
  • Caractere de Cochon - 42 rue Charlot 75003 - lovely outdoor wine bars and markets in this location too
