Party entertainment

I’m thinking of throwing a 40th party this summer for around 50 people. There will be lots of friends who don’t know each other , any ideas for some entertainment to help things flow and get the party started? I’m thinking magician etc buy not sure. Want it to be super fun and chic!

I love the idea of a pub quiz, but the teams are asigned so you potentially don’t know your team mates - there could be different categories where the teams have to work together and then they will just naturally get to know each other. Plus who doesn’t love a pub quiz?

Totally agree! Quizzes are a really good way to get everyone to chat with very minimal work put into it! I did one for a party and found the quiz online, printed out the sheets and played music and topped up drinks between each round and was really fun

Live music always brings people together, people love to get involved and sing.

At one of our summer parties the other year we had singing waiters who surprised us half way through handing out canapes, it was great!

I always think a live band or musical player is great - I’ve been to so many events with a saxophone player and everyone always engages so well.

Thank you!! Will definitely look into some form of live music!

Karaoke is always a vibe!

Yes I second this x

My parents always get someone playing the violin or a fun group of people playing instrument, feels so fun when guests walk in!
