I’m looking for a venue in north or east London to host drinks and maybe nibbles for my birthday in September - would be for around 15-20 people, so a semi-private space in a slightly more vibey pub or wine bar (like Oranj) would be ideal!

The Alpacca in Islington is really fun, pub vibe, but they have djs on the weekends and great cocktails. Don’t think there’s a private room but I just booked a big 20 person table at the back and it was perfect.
the Alma in Newington Green is such good fun on a Saturday night but it’s not as civilised, just a big no frills party
You can reserve a big space at the Scolt Head too which is super fun on weekends and cool crowd
