I’ve been gifted a Rains rain coat but it looks like a bin liner on me.
I need a waterproof for the commute to the city and school run. Is there a better alternative? I’m an hourglass size 10. I’ve got a great down winter coat. I’d consider a trench.

I know this is over the budget, but I have one of their jackets and they are truly waterproof without having that bin liner feel so well worth the investment
