Recommendations Italy; Bergamo, Milan, Como, Venice

Off to Italy for a few days in early April;
1 night Bergamo (fly in late night)
3 nights Milan with day trips to Como & Venice. (Open to other day trip options from Milan of course!)

Particularly interested in things not to miss and good restaurants - particularly with healthy food options, great coffee and good Italian wines please :pray:

I have visited Venice - you have to have the card for the vaporetto (the ferry which takes you around the laguna).

Book in advance Basilica di San Marco as it is a beehive for tourists. I would suggest visiting the Ghetto and have a good meal at Upupa restaurant. Other destinations worth visiting are La Scuola Grande di San Rocco, Penny Guggenheim museum, Santa Maria della Salute, San Giorgio Maggiore, the Lido of Venice and the Doge’s Palace. Check out for the Venice Biennale - it’s worth a visit.

I would suggest checking out Stresa, Verona and Mantua. In Milan, I would suggest visiting the Duomo and the Last Supper, Castello Sforzesco and Brera. Head to La Via del Te for an exquisite afternoon tea and some heartwarming tea flavours: https://www.laviadelte.it/i-nostri-negozi
