I have a works Christmas party next week, we’re going to Edinburgh on the train for the day. Bowling, Dishoom, whiskey tasting. I need something practical as so doubt we will be walking but still want to feel nice.

To keep comfortable but still feel put together and festive, I would go for something like satin trousers, a nice knit with a point of difference like ruffles and fun sparkly flats. Or, jeans with a sequin top/jacket and boots!
I would also say straight leg leather trousers with a sequin jumper. Or if you are not in to sequin’s a red jumper and some sparkly earrings to elevate the look.
