I am about to start a reformer pilates trial - is there anything in particular I should wear/not wear? What is the sock requirement? I haven’t done it before and, as someone with no core strength I am mentally preparing myself to hate it at first!

I find tighter clothing works best for pilates so leggings, fitted tank/tshirt otherwise looser clothing can get in the way a bit! Socks with grip are sometimes a non-negotiable depending on what studio you’re going to. Amazon do lots that are super good value to start off with

I agree with tighter clothes, I usually wear a fitted sports top and leggings. And then definitely socks with no-slip grip on the bottom. Alo have a super cute pair here. x

I agree tighter clothes and I prefer to wear a cycling style short style with a longer top/ sports ‘bra’. I find I get quite hot so nice to be in shorts but also covered around the tummy area so I don’t feel too exposed.
