Helloo! Very niche, but looking for a good place to go in Paris for steak frites? The city guide has so many restaurants options I’m quite overwhelmed! Thank you!
You MUST visit Le Bouillon Chartier for the experience and ambience.
The Grands Boulevards is the most famous and very popular, so there might be a queue!
Le cafe du commerce is a lovely art deco style place for this and the prices aren’t too crazy either - we were recommended it by locals!
You can never go wrong with Le Relais de L’Entrecote - it’s cliche but always hits! Just go early as there’s always a queue.
Bistro Paul Bert in the 11 is also great if you want something more local
I second this, but be prepared to wait for a while as you can’t book x
would defo have to agree!! such a classic x
Can’t emphasise enough, L’Entrecote is such an easy win!
If you’re near Gare de Lyon, Au Cadran, opposite the station is great.
For something super simple - Bouillon hits the spot every time.
The whole menu is so affordable (I think French onion soup is about €2) and the steak frittes is great. There are a few around the city and you have to queue but the queue usually goes quickly!
Forgot about Bouillons! The best ones are Bouillon Racine, Pigalle & République. Chartier is popular but more hit & miss
