I have recently purchased a pair of cropped wide leg jeans which I love but so used to wearing skinny jeans I don’t know how to style them. Any tips on tops/shoes to wear with them now we are heading to spring? For reference, I am 5ft 6 size 8.

I’d go for slightly oversized knits which can be french tucked just to bring back the shape a bit, or a nice shirt, pretty blouses or even a cropped tweed jacket. Footwear wise loafers or trainers look nice, but if you want to hide any ankle, maybe go for a boot.
I am loving this style of jeans at the moment, I have been wearing mine with ballet flats and cropped jackets. I am also 5 ft6 and a size 8 and think it is really flattering! Almost every highstreet shop has a good cropped boucle or bomber jacket right now 
and I personally love two toned ballet flats, a nude with a black toe cap
Agree - an oversized top and a ballet flat!
