Hi! Want to travel to southern Europe with my husband and our 3 kids (2, 7 and 9 years old) for a week in July! Anyone has any good tips? Want it to be relaxing, close to the beach, ideally a boutique hotel with some fun activities for the kids! Do not love the very large resorts with many many rooms:sweat_smile: would be great with some ideas!
I’d have a look at Tiny Travel Ship - a booking platform for families. Has a mix of hotels and rentals that are all child-friendly, and there are lots in that part of Europe!
Somewhere like Malta which caters for everyone would be ideal
I’d go to the south of France. You can get the train to Marseilles or fly to Nice.
We have been a few times with children and normally stay in Antibes and get the train to other beautiful places along the coast - Monaco, Cannes (amazing islands to explore from here via quick ferry), Grasse (world perfume central - learn all about the process), Nice, Menton. We got the boat from Antibes to Saint Tropez one year and while the journey was crowded and long it was so very worth it.
Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild was another highlight with a spectacular cafe for amazing patisserie.
