If you’ve not been before definitely do a skyscraper experience! We did the Edge during the daytime and SUMMIT at night - both offered very different but very cool experiences. Hudson Yards near the Edge is also really cool for shops and restaurants. There’s also the One World Trade Centre, Rockerfeller and Empire State.

Top of the rock cocktail bar at night, you can book a table for drinks. Get a photo of the Empire State Building in the background In the day the view of Central Park is spectacular too.
Walk over the Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan at dusk as the sun is setting
