Transitional Shoes

Hi Florence,
I feel like I always wear trainers, can you suggest some other shoe options as we transition into AW?
Thanks

It looks like suede shoes are going to be having a moment this Autumn, brands like Arket and H&M have these new moccasin loafer styles that would look so nice with relaxed denim and knitwear! Also love these styles:

Similarly, boat shoes are having a moment. Brands like Reformation and Massimo Dutti are using them really well for styling right now, great for outfit inspo!

I would also consider studded shoes, lots of brands have them right now, like ME+EM

And red shoes are a fun way to add a pop of colour to AW looks, I love simple red ballets flats like these on Mango, we are working on a red shoe at the moment so make sure you look out for that too!

I love a loafer for this time of year. An investment but love that Gucci have done their classic loafer in kharki green

I love Clarks Wallabees as an alternative to trainers! They come in a lot of different colours and you can style them so many ways, dressed up or they’re super cool in a streetwear style

I just realized that I too always wearing trainers🙄, and I have no other shoes in my wardrobe😐.

On the topic of suade, I’m obsessed with my Flabelus

Oh yes Flabelus is a lovely brand!

Loafers all the way. H&M usually does good ones and their prices are very reasonable. I always have at least one pair in black patent leather which never really goes out of fashion and wears well in the rain, as practically like a Wellington boot.
