Tubing mascara……does it come off in the pool?

Perhaps a ridiculous question but I use tubing mascara and wondered if this was still good for holiday or will it come off in the pool?
Am I better off with a waterproof mascara and a tonne of eye make up remover?

Hi Sarah, I am personally not a fan of tubing mascara, but maybe that’s because it’s the one I tried - I found with water it started cracking and coming off in lumps.

I ended up throwing it away after a few days - and not tried any since. If it’s for hols, go with what you know already - or perhaps get them tinted beforehand so you don’t have to bother with mascara during the day xx

i haven’t tried in the pool but hourlgass tubing is the best mascara ever - i no longer have panda eyes. Please try it!

It all depends which you use! I agree that Hourglass’ is amazing and rarely comes off without proper soaking: https://www.cultbeauty.co.uk/hourglass-unlocked-instant-extensions-mascara-10g/12908490.html?affil=thggpsad&switchcurrency=GBP&shippingcountry=GB&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwh7K1BhCZARIsAKOrVqG-dM9l9xS5DsbFqWaf_qdsLyhbd6UUWi0k-mGiSOPAfE50G4rbMIkaAq53EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

It’s so good and very easy to remove

I can’t say that I’ve worn tubing mascara in the pool, but I’ve definitely been through the shower with it on and it’s pretty much stayed intact. I personally find that tubing needs the motion of rubbing with fingers / a flannel to come off - I don’t find that it just slips off with warm water alone. The Hourglass one is great, but here are a few other of my favourites! X

Wow will definitely try onr of these what is best for length?

For length, go for the Hourglass - I always tend to find slim, silicone wands are best for length & separation. (Or for a more affordable option - this by Elf (another length-focused tubing formula) elf Lash XTNDR Mascara - Boots is also really good at catching each individual lash.) X
