What to wear in NYC mid June (on a budget).

Looking for some inspiration for what to wear whilst on a 4 night trip to New York this June. Links to pretty day dresses I can wear with trainers, and LBD options for a nice meal out one eve. Thanks :slight_smile:

For evenings I’d recommend a good pair of comfortable boots to wear with mini dresses/mini skirts. I have always found Zara, Raid & Public Desire have fun ones that I never need to break in - always comfortable & great for the evenings!

I’m also in NYC end of May and I would say it’s the most changeable climate - at this stage, it’s hard to know if it will be pouring with rain or boiling hot, or both. I’m tentatively planning on layers - silk trousers and a tee and trainers or dad sandals in the day, with a biker and sweatshirt if it’s cooler. You can’t go wrong with this formula - and you can just swap in heels for the evening.
