What to wear on a long haul flight?

I am off to Barbados in 2 weeks and currently searching for something to wear for the plane/to travel in that isn’t a tracksuit but equally comfortable. Will be travelling early UK time and arriving afternoon in Barbados… any ideas?

I recently got this set from Boden for an upcoming flight. It gives the comfort of a tracksuit but as it is navy, knitted and has a wide leg it feels more elevated. I really recommend it, the quality is very good. I would wear with trainers then switch to sandals when you arrive, or a Birkenstock Boston would work for the duration.

Maybe it’s a bit extra… but I’d say go all out and wear a cool PJ set! It’ll be so comfy to wear on the plane - because it’s literally PJ’s - but you can also wear it out and about on holiday too with heels or over a bikini.

I’d go for something like the below:
*Bought this one a few weeks ago and love it!

I love my Arket linen set, you can choose shorts or trousers too. Plus this would be perfect over a bikini in Barbados! Lots of colours to choose from:

Layers are your friend! I’d go linen trousers with an elasticated waist, vest top and a shirt you can take off when you get there. You could wear Birkenstocks with socks for the UK part, keep them on for the flight and then just wear the sandals when you land. I also love to take a large cashmere shawl so wrap up in on the flight, and use on cooler nights when you’re away.

Have a great holiday!
