Hi Jo, I’m from Germany and I think it’s great that you call your mom ‘Mutti’. I was born and raised in the GDR (Saxony). And back then we also called our moms ‘Mutti’

I studied German A level ( and failed)…but loved the word Mutti…and it suits my little mum…and Myrtle adores my mother x
