Work wear recs

I’m starting a new job in a law firm in January and I need some work wear inspiration which is affordable 🫶🏽

Congratulations!

I love Reiss tailoring for work, and their Christmas sales are great, so may be worth checking/waiting for the sales.

Marks and Spencer’s do some great affordable choices for workwear, which could be paired with shirts/camis/blazers - little bit of inspo linked below!

I totally agree with Megan - Reiss deliver great office pieces. Also have a look at Massimo Dutti, Marella, Max Mara and Stefanel.

Wishing you all the best at your new job!

Thankyou girls, I will get looking

I recommend george at asda for affordable work stuff. I got these trousers (sorry, out of stock online) in a size bigger but I can tuck a jumper in and wear a belt and still be comfortable sat at my desk. They do some good quality 100% cotton shirts (I love my blue/white striped one) and their studio collection is good for the price too (I have a wool blend coat which feels very heavy and expensive) - hope that helps, good luck!

Boring perhaps but Zara has great options, you may need to look harder but there are really good pieces there.

For example this dress with 60 denier tights and a lower heeled/kitten heel boot

You can also wear them with loafers like https://www.zara.com/uk/en/tassel-loafers-p12553210.html?v1=312252868&v2=2288865

this leggings dont look or feel like leggings and you can dress them up or down https://www.zara.com/uk/en/flared-split-hem-leggings-p03046306.html?v1=284129249&v2=2288865

I would look at Reiss, COS and Massimo Dutti. I think they are both so great for chic tailoring and smart knitwear! H&M also has some great pieces, I would look specifically online, not in store, for the more premium fabrics. We are also working on a feature about this that will go live in January so do look out for that!
