I have been on the hunt for a new concealer since my favourite Charlotte Tilbury one was discontinued. I started using the new Victoria Beckham x Augustinus Bader concealer pen which i am really loving. It’s good coverage without being too thick, plus it has additional skincare benefits so really works it magic on fine lines and dark circles.

I am currently working my way through Rivals on Disney+ — so joyous. It’s one of my all-time favourite novels so I wasn’t sure how it would measure up in comparison. But oh my goodness it is brilliant — the cast, the chemistry, the scenery, the one-liners. Alex Hassell is a great, rakish RCB, and the relationship between Lizzie and Freddie (Danny Dyer is superb) is just so charming. Now I’m going to have to re-read! X

I’m watching Outlast on Netflix – has anyone else seen it? It’s a reality show where 16 people are dropped into Alaska with limited supplies and have have to survive in the wilderness under they’re the last person standing. Really gripping!

I feel weird about judging biographies because, to me, it feels like gossiping about people’s lives. I judged the book by its cover, as they say. I had never heard of Julia Fox outside of gossip news, but through her pages, I found a friend. Those who lived through dark teenage years, regardless of whether we had similar experiences, connect. We know the agony, the pain, the relief. It’s cliché, but I feel joy that what seemed like the start of it all—family—was also the conclusion. Family helped her climb the hill and also stand still and find herself. I loved her confidence, and yes, she is a great writer in my eyes.
